Hi,
I'm writing an article for a new Cdn mag (thecanadianexpat.com) and am looking for tips from expats on how you successfully (or otherwise...) :-) overcame culture shock.
What was the funniest/most memorable event - a language faux-pas? A difference that you just didn't even expect?
Anything that might be of interest to Canadians who are thinking of moving abroad or those who are already living the life, and could definitely relate.
(ie., took me quite some time to figure out the "No" sounds that Poles make is actually like "yeah")
Many thanks!
