construction help

Hello,
I am an american living in the US with my Polish wife. We purchased a condo in Krakow and will need help with finishing the interior of the condo. I do not speak Polish but know some words. I work in construction but will be lost in Krakow with getting tools and material. I also will be moving to Poland in the future so I would like to meet some people when I visit. Can anyone give me advice about renting tools and finding someone that is handy and is looking for a couple of weeks of work.
