We're hoping to retire in a couple years and are starting to consider retirement abroad. We're particularly interested in Portugal and are in the process of planning an exploratory trip for later this year. We're a same-sex couple, I am chiropractor and my husband is in information systems for human resources. We're looking forward to exploring our options for retirement.

My name is Patricia and I have just moved from Palm Springs, Ca after my husband death in December 2020. I am presently living at my daughter's home in Miami Florida. My sister who is a retired school teacher from Venice Beach, CA has found we are priced out of the market and would like to write a story about the final years of our lifes. We are both retired and have sufficent monies for living without any problems.

I'm planning on moving to Lisbon in Jan. 2023 and hope to gain a better understanding of the Portuguese culture and people before moving there. I've been involved in the performing arts and museum work and am a grants writer consultant.
