We are a NZ family (mum, dad, two boys 15 & 11) wanting a break from the humdrum of surburban life, wishing to spend a few months of our winter in Spain - or in fact anywhere in Europe! We would need to work during this time and woudl love to hear from anyone doing something similar.
Frank is a builder, and can turn his hand to most things and I have had the compulsory waitressing experience (many years ago!) but also, would be happy to do anything. We don't need to earn much, just enough to exist on for the time that we are there. I was thinking along the lines of fruit picking, or live-in hotel work i.e. room servicing, handyman etc... Maybe living-in with a family as domestic employees...
Is there anyone who can help us with this information? Would there be anyone working in Valencia in or around the boats that may have some useful tips?
Would love to hear back so we can start planning our adventure!!!
