OAP Health Cover in Spain

I would specifically like info re medical cover if I move to Fuengirola area to live as a resident with my wife(we are both OAPs).
So far I know that prior to leaving UK I must obtain Form S1 and register it with local authorities in(this case)Fuengirola (You can assume that we will have a property in the area).
Having registered as residents are we then able to use and have full medical cover on Local NHS?
It would appear that additional cover from Helio Sanitaros would be good.
Replies, especially from someone who has recently moved to Spain, would be very much appreciated
