Retirement in Valencia

Hello! I am seriously considering retirement in the Valencia region of Spain and would love to chat with anyone who can provide some guidance as to neighborhoods including the city of Valencia. I will have a monthly budget of $3000 US dollars. I would like to rent and keep this payment under 600 US dollars with AC, washer and 1 or 2 bedrooms.
I like the the cultural center and city vibe, but I also love green space and peace & quiet and the beaches. I will be a 61 yr. old single woman and will want to make friends of all types. Thank you in advance! Jo
