Don't like heat!

Hi all - Buenos Dias! My parents had a business in Southern Spain so I spent a lot of time there in my teenage years. I'm considering retirement there.

HOWEVER, I am not crazy about the heat so Southern Spain isn't ideal for me.

Any suggestions on Northern cities in Spain? I'm considering a trip to Bilbao but it seems pricey. Any other ideas? Gracias!!
