I'm interested in knowing the best places to develop connections with expats as a retiree. The expat community here in Kuwait is wonderful but probably more to do with my being a teacher and connecting with co-workers. Once I retire I won't have that automatic connection to other expats. I'm curious to know how easy others have found it to make connections with others in a new place when there isn't a job to help facilitate those opportunities.
