I am an AWS (Amazon) Cloud Architect/Engineer (pro level certifications for Cloud Architect/Engineer and Data Analytics) with a long background/history in IT (years ago, managed, at the same time – a nationwide data center: Help Desk, Voice/Data Communications, PC Support and mainframe/pc security).

Getting an IT job should not be a problem for me but wife will not be working, at least not initially.
I would just have to find an American company that would take me on to work abroad in Sweden or somehow find a Swedish company that would bring me on board.
My next AWS certification in 2022 is the AWS Machine Learning/AI Specialty cert.

Me:
double graduate degrees (MBA Technology Management with focus on Strategy and Innovation & MS Cybersecurity) with a BA in Political Science.
Wife has a BA as well.

And we do intend to learn at least basic Swedish.
Wife: French in college
Me: Chinese, Arabic and Japanese in college (read, speak & write) with self-taught Russian (read, speak & write) some time ago and (with a year of high school Spanish).

a) LinkedIn profile - https://www.linkedin.com/in/patrick-a-38a7a76/

b) A pair of sites where I post writings; first one is for work type items, the second is for societal and other areas – there is some overlap at times.

I have been in a relationship with my fiance in Sweden since summer of 2012. Since then we have been going back and forth to be with each other several times a year. I have obtained permission to live in Sweden and have not obtained my person number yet. I am planning on moving there, but trying to be fairly sure I know what I am doing.
I retired in 2018, and I am over 65 now. I guess I need to consult some advice about how to handle things like income tax from my retirement incomes, the selling of my house in the states, my medical coverage in states. I have been trying to locate some type of help, but mostly finding vague services having to do with USA taxes or financial investment advisors that are expensive and will not know how useful until after paying. Hope to find info in this group that may give me some ideas of a good approach.
