Managing Editor (Biomedical)
Requirements:
" English native speaker
" Medical background : (hospital) pharmacy trained or qualified medical doctor with experience in pharmacology/clinical drug development
" Proven experience in professional medical writing and editing
" Experience with journal production and proofreading
" Well organized and accurate
" Flexible working attitude
Duties:
" Manage the execution of the publishing process, in particular the editorial process in collaboration with the EditorinChief; as well as editorial production and general operational management
" Commissioning and editing of articles
" Building sustained relationship with expert authors
" General tasks: management of manuscript flow, manage the editors and production team
" Report to Publisher and EditorinChief
