There is a group that covers the entire province of Utrecht called the International Women's Contact Utrecht that has several mums and tots meetings each month all over the province.

I do not have children, but I am a member of the club and think it's a fantastic group with some fascinating women.

Dues are 45 Euro per year and there are loads of activities in addition to the playgroups. Other children's activities include a Christmas Party, a Halloween Party and an Easter egg hunt.

Non-members are allowed to attend 2 trial events before signing up for membership. Just be sure to contact the hostess to let her know who you are and that you wish to attend.

The website is http://iwcu.nl/ and the mums and tots events for March and April in Utrecht (in and around the city) are as follows:

March 8
March 10
March 30
April 8
April 13
April 19
April 27

Hope that helps!

HI! I am an American mom with a 2 year old - I have lots of books and toys that your little one might be able to use. I am located in the Den Haag area - I would love to make a new friend here! :) Feel free to write if you are interested in getting together. on a side note, there is an event on March 29th at the Den Haag welcome center that is free and gives a tour - kids are welcome :) Maybe i will see you there?

I was wondering if you have had any luck finding a baby group in Utrecht? I have a 2 year old and am now on maternity leave waiting for the 2nd to be born (due in 2 weeks). I didn't manage to find a group last time and would really love to find one in the area (Utrecht really does appear to be the only big city in Holland without one advertised!) The only ones I have heard of are ones already mentioned in Hilversum or the IWCU group, however it would be great to meet people in Utrecht. I'll keep looking but please let me know if you've found anything. Thanks
