My Common law Husband is being transferred to Roermond (or neighboring community) not sure where we will be living yet.
However we have 2 dogs we must bring. I have no idea as to what paperwork I need to do this legally. Anyone have any idea?

I love the way you say "legally"...I am in a similar situation...check out the Dutch Embassy website (pets) and follow your nose...you'll be directed to APHIS website...paperwork is US-issued, very tightly timed from vet visit/shots, to certifications to arrival in the EU...all in 10 days but it can be done...good luck to us all..

I moved from NL to USA - but - if this helps:
Your pet must be identified with a microchip.
Your pet must be vaccinated against rabies after being micro chipped. If it is the first time that your pet gets the rabies vaccination after being micro-chipped, be aware that the rabies vaccination should be given at least 21 days before the pet’s departure date to the Netherlands.
Dogs and cats must be at least 15 weeks old in order to travel to the Netherlands.
Your pet must also travel with a veterinarian health certificate from an accredited veterinarian. After the certificate has been signed by the veterinarian it is valid for 10 days for entry into the Netherlands.
There is no quarantine! Best of Luck, Francesca (DutchYankee)

We are bringing our dog from the USA and require a current rabies vaccination, a certificate of health from the Vet and micro chip for identification.
