Hello Expats,
We are US residents who are looking to move to Netherlands in the near future for next 2-3 years. We have received an offer already and wanted some clarity on the Dutch pension contribution.
Like in the US, is a pension contribution through pay cheque voluntary and similarly, can we ask for higher pay if we indicate that the company doesnt have to pay into the pension scheme as we dont intend to use it?
Your help is much appreciated.
