moving to istanbul

Since i have to make the important decision of either staying here in austria or moving to my boyfriend to istanbul. i would really appreciate if some expat-experts could give me some advice on daily life down there. i am not sure if daily life - without having any duties - would make me depressed or not. i used to stay there twice for 3 months while i did my traineeships, so i kind of know the culture.
so, i appreciate any advice of "jobless" expats living in istanbul...
