Bringing Cats to Istanbul

Hello all,
I am going to be moving to Istanbul in January of 2013 and I wanted to plan ahead for my cats. I brought them here to Riyadh (I'm in Saudi Arabia at the moment) from the US and I want to take them with me to Istanbul. Just wondering if anyone has taken pets from Riyadh to Turkey. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
