Schooling options for expats

Has anyone homeschooled in Croatia? Are there any local homeschooling communities? It seems so taboo when we were there a few years ago, but I wonder if things have changed some after COVID, as it's gotten much more common in the US. I grew up homeschooled and had a very positive experience, and would like to make the transition easier on my son. But I think it would be hard to homeschool successfully if there isn't a similar community as I had growing up that would build a good social environment.
