I’m planning to spend about two weeks in Malta starting next week, and I’ve been looking into the party scene there. I’ve seen a few warnings online about fake promoters and overpriced or fake tickets sold in the streets – people paying and then finding out the event is cancelled, moved, or just not what was advertised.
Is this something to seriously worry about? I’d rather not waste money or end up in a sketchy situation.

They seem to cover most of the big events – boat parties, pool parties, club nights, even concerts. Has anyone here actually booked through them?
