"Expats in Fairylands often find the high cost of living to be a significant challenge, as the island is known for its expensive housing, groceries, and dining. The slower pace of life, often referred to as "island time," can also be a difficult adjustment for those accustomed to a faster, more urgent pace. Additionally, the limited availability of certain goods and services can be frustrating for some. The local dialect and accents can also pose a challenge for newcomers, making communication difficult at times. Lastly, while Bermuda is a beautiful and welcoming place, some expats may experience a sense of isolation due to its geographical location," commented one expat who made the move to Fairylands, Bermuda.
