What do expats find most challenging?

Answer this Question

We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Westerhall Point. They wrote...

"Expats in Westerhall Point may find the slower pace of life challenging, as the local culture values a relaxed and unhurried approach to daily tasks. The local dialect, Grenadian Creole, can also be difficult to understand for those not familiar with it. Additionally, the island's infrastructure may not be as developed as in some Western countries, which can lead to difficulties in areas such as transportation and internet connectivity. Some expats may also struggle with the high levels of poverty and inequality present in Grenada. Lastly, while Grenadians are generally friendly and welcoming, it can take time to fully integrate into the local community and understand the nuances of the culture," remarked another expat in Westerhall Point, Grenada.
