Furthermore, expats may encounter issues related to safety and crime, as Jamaica has a relatively high crime rate. They might need to take extra precautions to ensure their personal safety and protect their belongings. Lastly, expats may face challenges in accessing quality healthcare, as the public healthcare system in Jamaica is often overcrowded and under-resourced.
