Will I save money living in Yongin?

Answer this Question

We asked expats if they save money living in Yongin. They said...

"The cost of living in Yongin, South Korea, can be significantly lower than in many parts of the United States. This is particularly true when it comes to housing and healthcare, which are generally more affordable in Yongin. Groceries and dining out can also be less expensive in Yongin, although this can vary depending on your lifestyle and eating habits. However, keep in mind that salaries in South Korea may also be lower than in the U.S., so your overall savings potential will depend on your income as well as your expenses. Additionally, the cost of certain goods, such as imported products and electronics, can be higher in South Korea. Therefore, while you may save money on some aspects of living in Yongin, other costs may be similar or even higher than in the U.S," wrote a member who made the move to Yongin, Korea.
