"To obtain a visa to live and work in Epinal, applicants must first obtain a long-stay visa from the French Embassy or consulate. This visa is valid for three months, and applicants will have to also submit a copy of their proof of address, a valid passport, a copy of their employment contract, and proof of medical insurance. Once the visa has been granted, applicants will then be required to register at the local City Hall in Epinal and obtain a residency permit. This will involve filling out an official residency permit request form, providing proof of address and possibly arranging for an appointment and interview with a French immigration official. Once approved, the applicant will be able to stay in the country for a period determined by the French immigration office," explained one expat living in Epinal, France.
