We asked people about the cost of living in Bangladesh, they wrote...
"The cost of living in Bangladesh varies throughout the country, since many areas have experienced a significant influx of development and industry in recent years. In urban areas such as Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet that have a thriving economy and vibrant lifestyle, the cost of living is generally higher than in more rural regions. For example, a nice 1-bedroom apartment in an area such as Dhaka can range from $600 to $1,500 per month. A nice 2-bedroom apartment can run anywhere from $1,000 to $3,500 per month. Eating dinner at a moderately priced restaurant in one of these urban areas can cost between $12 and $25 depending on the type of meal," explained one expat living in Bangladesh.
