Help please....

I am looking for some guidance from those of you that are in or have been in Algeria recently.

my mother is british my father(now deceased)Algerian. I spent very little time in Algeria, we left when I was 5, for London.

As the eldest son alot has landed on my plate to sort out.

I speak good french but don't understand the 'system'

I want to open a bank account? can I? how do I go about it? what papers do I need?Can money be taken in and out of the country with ease?

Any info. would be greatfully received
