ESL Teaching Do's and Don'ts

Hi!

I am from the UK but am moving to Graz in a couple of weeks. I'm going to be working at a certain language school (who shall remain nameless) but I would like to know of other people's experiences with teaching. Is it also possible to get some freelance work, or some teaching positions within some kindergarten/primary or secondary schools? Any advice would be much appreciated. I am going into this with my eyes wide open.
