Moving to Bermuda from Calif. Your advice please!

I'm being recruited for a bank job in Bermuda. They offered me ~$75K base plus discret'n bonus, relocation expenses and 1st month hotel stay. I heard of high living costs there. Apartment for single runs from $2,000-2,500 a month. I'm single and love most beach/water sports but want to know if the compensation is realistic to live in Bermuda. I'd appreciate any expat comments as they expect me to make a decision soon.
