We are casting in Rio for a Visa Fifa project and reaching out to see if you know anyone who fits the following description: a football fan, any age, male or female, from each nationality - German, Italian, Mexican, Russian and Japanese. We would like them to have charisma, personality, and strong connections to both their ex-pat communities as well as the Brazilian community. This campaign is about being welcoming in all directions. An interesting story to tell about what brought them to Brazil is great too.
We would love them to send a photo of themselves, along with a short video (20 seconds, shot on a phone is fine) and three sentences about their story of how they came to work and live in Brazil to the lead producer, Tamar Halpern [email protected]. In exchange, if chosen, we would film them for 1-2 days and they would be paid $200 a day. Dates are September 6-11th.
They do not have to take time off work – we will work around their schedules or, if possible, film them at work as part of the story. Anyone who wants to participate will end up with a beautiful 2 to 3 minute documentary about them that they can share with their families and friends for years to come. We are going to make the stories really gorgeous and touching, so please forward this on to anyone you think might be interested.
