Finding work in Chile

Hello,

My wife and I are considering a move to Chile from the United States. She is a veterinarian and I am a software engineer / IT professional with 10+ years of experience.

What is the job situation like down there? How easy is it to find employment for people like us? Where does one look? :) We have been there on vacation and loved it and are now considering moving. Of course, vacationing somewhere and living there may be two entirely different things ;)
