Hello- my husband and I are interested in moving to Chile for a number of reasons, but keen to get some advice on location. We’re looking for somewhere not unreasonably far from an airport because I travel for work (i.e. within a few hours, but the closer the better), do not want to be in a city (semi-rural), we’re keen hikers, love the lakes and mountains. My husband is a fly fishermen. We’d ideally like somewhere with a warm climate but cooler places would be fine if it ticks the other boxes. Although we like the peace and quiet of the countryside, for immigrating I am keen for us to find a community of expats to help us settle in. Was originally looking at Pucon but looking at previous comments, there are other places rated higher. Any suggestions? Thanks!
