Potential move to Cartagena - visa query..

Hi all - I am new to the forum. I'm a Brit currently living in UK, with a Colombian girlfriend living in Dubai (I know..right?!). A potential move for her to the UK is proving difficult before it's even begun, and so we are now both seriously considering a move back to Cartagena.

I work in HR in the UK and would want to do something similar over there - how long & difficult is the process in getting a work visa? The relevant pages on the British FO website are down for some reason so would really appreciate some pointers.

My spanish is decent but not fluent, am I going to find it difficult to find work in an English speaking position?
