La Ceja, anyone?

Looking at rainfall averages for the cafetero area, and seeking a location on the smaller size with temperate temps, I am thinking more about La Ceja. It is a city that was on my original list, but when it came time to finalize my trip plans this past winter, La Ceja slipped off the countertop. I am going to make a very brief trip to COL in October, and would like to put La Ceja back into contention.

For those who know, a few questions:
- is it nice there? Good scenic views? Rental availability? Hotel recommendation?
