So next year we're moving to Colombia from USA, joining
wife's family in Bogota, we'll eventually be buying a car. I've been tracking prices to get a feel for things. Looking at details, isn't the sales tax up to like 19% ? Anyone have any experience buying recently to provide insight on how to navigate the purchase. Just like in the US, there's loads to look out for, but I'm figuring it's less to scrutinize (hopefully), when paying cash. Any insights? Thanks, much appreciated.
