Arrived in Cali from NYC yesterday.
First stop was a finca up by the Christo Rey statue.
On the way to the finca I passed through many neighborhoods. The area around the Hotel Intercontinental, I believe you call that the North West side of Cali, seems pretty nice but the nice area seems to be surrounded by all these run down looking shops that looked pretty scary to me.
I was not impressed and will next try the area around ciudad jardin, and the Roosevelt Avenue area.
I really don’t want to drive so I am looking for a neighborhood similar to the Manhattan area I grew up in with everything in walking distance.
Suggestions, advise or an explanation of the area around the intercontinental hotel.
Thanks
