Hi. I have a 12 year old daughter in Colombia. She lives with her mother. I live in Europe. We have split up 6 year ago. Regarding alimony we had a verbal agreement. Majority of the times I have sent way more than agreed amount. Year after year she is demanding more and more money. Mother of my child spends a lot of money gambling. At list she did when we were together and I don’t feel like it changed. After all that time I am tired of the arguments because my ex puts my daughter in the middle of this and lately it became so that my daughter rings and demands money. I feel like it’s time to get law involved and draw up and solid lawful agreement. Is there anyone had an experience like that? What to expect? And roughly does anyone know of how much alimony has to be according to law?
