Nomad (Not Digital)

Waiting for analysis of my current health insurance to determine if they are sufficient for immigrations purposes or not. If they are will proceed with visa application (Migrant visa by spouse). The main purpose being to put a pin in future path to residency/citizenship.

Meanwhile even if granted the visa and I expect it will be; I will avoid becoming a tax resident. That equates to being out of Colombia more than being in Colombia (Yea, I know...less than 184 in a rolling 365). I am of the notion than most of the Central and South American countries allow 90 days (US passport) and many granting an additional 90 days. So I am strongly considering bouncing about the Americas like a ping pong ball with the US and Colombia being frequent stops.

That said at some point in the future will want to settle in a primary location with less travel as we age. To be determined by future regulations and laws. I am thinking 60-90 day rentals and enjoying the local attractions I can live very inexpensively.

Caveats?
