Finca Firearm Ownership

Not wanting to hijack the ever evolving "dog thread" I have started this new one. Blenheim mentioned that the owner of a Finca can own a shotgun. Does anyone have experience with this? What constitutes a Finca? What sort of shotguns are allowed? Single shot, double barrel, AA with 20 or 32 round mag and a flashlight as an aiming device? Can you supply your own? Inquiring mind want to know!
