My UK Debit card is due for renewal at the end of the month, the replacement was sent by the Bank to my UK Correspondence address, which is my Nephew, he has tried to send as in the past, via DHL, and they refused, stating it is a prohibited item to Colombia, showed him their 'new' policy. I have contacted my Bank Card Team, who state that due to changes by the Colombian Government, Bank Cards are now being prohibited from transit, UK to Colombia.
They apologised, said I can still use it online, or return to the UK to collect it, the latter is not an option, after my UK trip last year, I realised I had done my last long haul.
Anyone any ideas, thought about sending it via the US, but not sure whether they now have the same policy. We did think about stuffing it in the middle of a book, but DHL state they are scanning all packets to Colombia, as are other Couriers.
Not sure what Petro's change was, but it sure pissed someone off!
Anyone any ideas?
