Pay In Cash?

A heads up for those who like to pay large purchases in cash . Abelardo has proposed a new law , Estatuto Antiterrorista that will prohibit payment in cash for things like cars, apartments and fincas. Of course it is an effort to control money laundering. Asobancaria approves the plan and it will likely become law.. Most foreigners I know have paid one or another large purchase like those above in cash so this may be a real inconvenience. to expats.
