Electricity Deposit

In 2007 July we paid a deposit for connection to the electricity supply.We recently moved and had to pay 200 euro.In 2007 we paid Cyprus pounds 200 deposit but they say I am not telling the truth. The woman say upto 2012 Cyprus £10 was the most anyone paid. Do you have any knowledge about this issue please.Thanks John.
On leaving their office I met a friend who arrived 2014 who paid 100 euro deposit ?
