Moving soon to CPH - accommodation

I'll be moving around early Nov 2006 to CPH where I will work at around Osterbro area. I really need help to look for apartment on rental basis. Trying to weight the option of doing the search myself or use the services of a relocating agent. Thing is, I'll be taking this job on a pay cut so money is a bit tight .. budget is for an apartment partially furnished at $1200 per month.

I'm currently working in Sudan so moving from Sudan to CPH exites me but scares me too .. have been living in the bush for sometime so not sure how I'll take a real cosmo city! Also, imagine coming from a constant dry 40 deg celcius temperature to cold wet CPH ... argghh!
