retiree wants to move to Denmark

I recently retired from teaching. I have family in Denmark and have visited many times. I would like to move to Denmark. I do not need nor want a job.
Everything I have been able to find out says that it is not possible to move there. Anyone out there know differently and can point me in the right direction?
