Moving to Suva

Planning to move to Fiji with my family, I have been offered a job in Suva. I am reading very contradictory accounts on how life is in Suva and surroundings, from heaven on earth and neverending smiles and hospitality on one hand, to expats constantly targeted as walking wallets on the other.
