registering a birth in Germany

Can anyone tell me where I can find out about the rules regarding naming a baby in Germany. I am due to give birth soon and want to give my child my maiden name or my partners surname (we are not married). My current official name is still my old married name and my divorce will not be final until after the birth. Sorry, this is really complicated, I know!
