Would any American expats like to start sharing home recipes of our favorite American foods that we cannot get in Germany? I have tried to make flour tortillas but they just dont turn out. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
It is really difficult to make alot of our favorite foods without having those imported, mailed from relatives or brought back from vacation, American ingredients. Ive been here for over 3 years and live in a small town in Northern Germany south of Hannover. So my selection is really limited. And now realize I can only have that good old American cooking if I make myself!
I tried growing serrano chile peppers and Jalapenos but there isnt enough sunshine and it just doesnt stay hot enough in my area.
(I do not ever remember seeing corn on a Pizza)
