Divorce

My German husband recently left me (well, he wouldn't let me live at home). He now wants a divorce and would like me to pay for half of it. As I understand it, the one who files for divorce in Germany needs to pay. This divorce is his decision. We were only married ofr 5 mothes. Can someone please help me out?
