Teaching English in Germany

Hello!

Anticipating a move to Hamburg to live with my fiance, I am in search of any information on teaching English as a second language. (or more likely, teaching business English.) Is it necessary to get certification; and if so, can anyone provide tips or resources on how to go about getting it?

I am currently in NYC, and have several years' experience in corporate communications with German clientele. I also have two years experience in early childhood education, though I am not a certified teacher.

I've heard of other expats teaching English and think it would be the ideal occupation for me. I just need to know how to go about it.

Thanks for all the help you can offer.
