Advice for Frankfurt

Hi all,

Does anyone have any advice on good books and techniques on learning German. I have been here since September, but i find the language courses far too expensive as it is only my partner working. Also i have been throwing my CV around different companies and agencies and the feedback is not so bad although lack of German is obviously the main obstacle. I have a BA in Business and PgD in Software with good business professional experience so i know that i am marketable. Any advice will be appreciated. Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected].
