I have a job offer on the base in support services, not military. I'll make a similar wage as I do in the US due to no income tax (meeting IRS requirements). How do you think the cost of living compares? My child can attend the base school, and I'll have commissary/px/gas coupon previleges. I'll have to find local housing. I've lived in Spain for a number of years, and wanted to get a bit closer. What do you think, will standard of living be much less (material wise)? How does one go about finding housing locally? I enjoyed the cell phone plan chat. Gives me a clue what I'm in for, but love the foreign living challenge.
