Moving to Heidelberg soon

Hi there,

My husband and I are moving to Heidelberg soon and we are curious to hear from someone who is living there currently or has lived there in the recent past. We are sure we will enjoy the experience, but are most concerned about the cost of living. Is it realistic to think we can get a place to rent for $1,000 to $1,500 per month in Heidelberg? Are utilities reasonable? What about general expenses like food, groceries, etc.? Does anyone happen to know if there is a professional "custom" photo lab in the area?
