looking for work and a place to live...please help!

I've made the decision to move to Berlin, I arrive in Germany in about 3 weeks (a little less) I am looking for a place to live and work. I have dual citizenship but need to renew my German passport. My field of interest is in the culinary field, more specifically pastry field. my German isn't perfect but good. Any help on a cheap place to live or work opportunities in Berlin would be great.
